A superb Chablis from this great producer, and made using grapes in the Premier Cru Fourchaume vineyards. 2000 was a tricky vintage with some grape rot in August but it was rescued by some hot and dry weather all the way up to the harvest. The grapes reached full ripeness giving wines with impressive richness and well-balanced acidity.
