A special release from Ardbeg, named after the American oak casks it was matured in. These casks were given an intense char, leaving a surface resembling alligator skin and imparting a bold, smoky complexity. Highly sought-after and regarded as one of the finest Ardbeg whiskies available. This is the Committee Reserve edition of the bottling. Released 'For Discussion' prior to being launched for general release.
