Laboure Roi's House was founded in 1832 in the town of Nuits Saint Georges by Mr King and Mr Laboure. Twenty years ago Mr. Claude-Joseph Bonnet founded what would become a prosperous silk house in Lyon. In 1974, these two houses merged when Louis and Armand Cottin, direct descendants of Mr. Bonnet, bought Laboure Roi to Mr Jeanniard direct descendant of Mr and Mr Laboure Roi. The Burgundy region is particularly steeped in history and tradition.
