The older release of this highly collectable Macallan bottled at a slightly higher ABV of 58.6%, bottled around 2007.  Matured in Sherry Oak casks from Jerez, Spain. The very recognisable Easter Elchies house depicted on the front of the box is painted by Sara Middleton. Like a lot of other Macallan whiskies this is a very collectable bottle and is quite sought after.
