Tamdhu was founded in Speyside in 1896 and is currently owned by Ian Macleod distillers, making it a sister distillery to Glengoyne. Many people first encounter Tamdhu through blends such as Cutty Sark and Famous Grouse, but the distillery is also now releasing its own respected single malts
