With Macallan being one of the jugernauts of the whiskey world its hard to image that their Single malts were being mainly exported to the Italian market back in the 60s and 70s as their home market didn’t have the same appreciation. This extremely rare Speyside single malt Scotch whisky was distilled at The Macallan in 1955 and bottled for the UK market by one of the distillers' official bottlers in the sixties and seventies, Campbell, Hope & King of Elgin. Bottled at 80 proof and 26 2/3 FL. Ozs in the 1970's, this highly collectible malt comes in Good condition, with a very high neck fill, considering its years.
