This style of wine was enjoyed by Napoleon and the European aristocracy, including George IV, Louis Philippe, and also Charles Dickens, Jane Austen, and Baudelaire. Intense and complex nose of dried apricots, raisins and orange marmalade. Sweet, spicy, citrus fruit flavours with fine, balanced acidity and a clean and long finish.
