Winning Lots & Payment
At the conclusion of the auction, you will receive an email with a detailed summary of your winning bids, along with shipping/collection options and payment instructions.
We accept the following payment methods:
- Bank Transfer
- PayPal
- Credit/Debit Cards (Please note, a 2% surcharge applies to credit card payments.)
Once you finalize your payment and delivery/collection method, you will receive a final invoice.
Important: Payments must be received within 1 week of the auction's close. Late payment fees will apply if payment is not made within this timeframe.
Delivery or Collection
Once payment is confirmed, we will contact you with an estimated delivery time or let you know when your order is ready for collection.
We are able to deliver whiskey to many countries internationally. To view our delivery charges and applicable countries, please visit our delivery page.
Insurance: You can opt for insurance at checkout to cover total breakage and loss only. Please note, insurance does not cover minor damage or leakage during transit.
If an issue arises during transit (e.g., breakage), please retain all original packaging and contact us immediately.
Storing Items
Unfortunately, we are unable to store items for you. Storage is free for up to 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, there will be a charge of €2 per bottle per day.
Auction Fees
- Auction Fee: 10% of the final selling price (hammer price).
- VAT: VAT at 21% is applied to commission, delivery, and surcharges. VAT is not applicable to the hammer price of the lots.
Additional Fees
- Delivery Fees: Please refer to our delivery page for detailed shipping costs.
- Insurance (Optional): 3% of the total value of all lots in your order.
- Late Payment Fee: 2.5% of the total order balance if payment is not received within 7 days following the auction close.
- Credit Card Surcharge: A 2% surcharge applies to all credit card payments.
