Distilled in 1993 and released in 2005, this edition of Willaim Larue Weller uses Kentucky corn, North Dakota wheat and malted barley in the mashbill. A big, sweet Bourbon with plenty of pastry notes and creamy vanilla plus lots of spicy flourishes and complexity from the 12 years in oak.Thankfully buffalo traces listens to its consumer requests as with out them we might not have received a well aged barrel strength bourbon like this.
