From what I can gather the rare breed is a blend of between 6,8, and 12 year old bourbon distilled and bottles at Wild turkey. This 2021 bottling is everything Rare Breed should be – not a note more or less. Said to be the best nose on any Rare Breed since 2017 when they transitioned. From the notes of different reviews I see that this sips like a bourbon well under its percentage and having experienced that in other barrell proof bourbons I can only imagine this would be a tasty sipper.
